Expert Commentary<\/h1>\n

Dr. Samra\u2019s down-to-earth, friendly and engaging style \u2013 combined with her clinical acumen and research expertise \u2013 make her a go-to expert for a wide range of media sources. She is regularly called upon by provincial and national print, radio and TV media to comment on a range of issues relating to psychological health and human behaviour. Topics of discussion during her myriad media appearances have included: depression, anxiety, substance use and addictions, financial\/relationship\/workplace stress, hoarding behaviours, criminal psychology, sports-psychology, workplace mental health, and suicide, among others. She is interviewed on an almost weekly basis, making regular appearances on local and national breakfast shows, call-in radio shows, and the evening news. She is called on by all of the large national and provincial media outlets \u2013 including CTV Morning Live, CTV Evening News, Global Morning & Noon Shows, Global BC, Global National, Breakfast TV, CBC, City, Shaw TV, Omni, News 1130, CKNW, CBC Radio One, 680 CJOB, CFAX1070, and Virgin 94.5, among others.<\/p>\n

Dr. Samra is regularly interviewed by a wide range of scholarly, professional and popular publications, including newspapers such as the National Post, Vancouver Sun, Georgia Strait, Province, Vancouver Courier<\/strong><\/em><\/span>; magazines and popular publications such as Huffington Post, Elle<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, and Chatelaine<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, as well as a range of business and human resources trade magazines and publications.<\/p>\n
